Marcus Bonna MB Baby - Tenor Trombone Case

This case is compatible with Shires tenor trombones, or wider-wrapped trombone brands and/or models, where the main and F-attachment slides end at the same length.

This case is also compatible with Bach, Conn, or other thinner-wrapped trombones where the F-attachment tuning slide extends past the main tuning slide.

Due to its compact nature and the layout of the hand slide and bell section, this case may not be compatible with thicker-wrapped trombones using Hagmann rotors.

This model of baby case fits a tenor trombone of bell size up to 8.5 inches. You can order a special size to fit a bell size of 9 or more inches.

When ordered as a fiberglass shell and nylon cover, the case weighs around 3.1 kg. It is possible to upgrade to a carbon fiber shell or leather exterior.

The velcro belt system guaranties that the slide and the instrument body are safely protected by the hard shell (fiberglass or carbon fiber) in such a way that they won't touch each other.

The new design is lighter and more compact than the original case for tenor trombone. It has a detachable zipper system to attach a bag for sheet music and accessories.

MB trombone cases have a system that is adaptable for different types of tenor trombone. The EVA parts and cushions have velcro, so they can be positioned in order to fit most sizes of instrument properly.

This model may also fit a bass trombone with a bell size up to 9.5 inches with higher crooks. It usually fits trombones with hand support and trombones with or without rotary valves.

There is space for accessories in an interior compartment or in the exterior pocket.
