The Golden Taklon Rounds provide responsive control for more precise brushwork. Their versatile pointed shape transitions easily between lines, details, fills, and broader marks with a change in pressure. Having two #0 Rounds also allows artists to keep separate brushes working in different colors or values without constantly stopping to clean the same detail brush.

The Protégé Round provides the paint capacity and precision associated with a traditional Kolinsky sable brush, but with a firmer synthetic response and stronger snap. Its full belly holds paint while the fine needle-point tip provides exceptional control for detailed and precise brushwork.

Built to Last

Each brush is made with Trekell's Thermyx™ filament technology. During manufacturing, the bristles are heat-set to create built-in shape memory that helps the brushes maintain their shape and performance over time.

If the bristles begin to lose their shape, dip them in simmering water for a few seconds to help restore them closer to their original form. Reshape the bristles while warm and allow them to dry in place.

For even longer-lasting performance, apply Trekell Brush Restorer while the bristles dry to help them hold their shape between painting sessions.
