Girit Yellow Robe

Pure linen in a wide sunflower-yellow and cream stripe — the brightest robe in the range, and the one that looks least like it belongs behind a bathroom door. Flat-woven rather than looped, so it wears as easily over swimwear on a terrace as it does after a bath.

Why 100% linen

• It regulates temperature. Linen breathes in summer heat and still holds warmth in colder months — one robe for the whole year.
• It does not stay wet. Linen sheds moisture faster than any other robe fibre, so it is dry on the hook instead of damp against the wall.
• It gets better with age. Linen softens with every wash and outlasts terry by years rather than matting.
• It packs flat. Folds small enough for hand luggage — it travels well to hotels and summer houses.

Fit

Cut unisex and relaxed, with a generous wrap, two front pockets and a tie belt. Sizes run S/M to XXL — the measurements above are of the garment, not the body, so allow for the overlap when it is wrapped. Size up if you are between sizes or want a longer, looser fit.

Care

Cold wash only, hang dry. No bleach and no fabric softener — softener coats linen and dulls both absorbency and drape. Wash with like colours for the first couple of cycles to keep the yellow clean against the cream. A little relaxed creasing is how linen looks, and it settles with wear.
