Gokova Robe

Pure linen in a deep forest green — the darkest colour we dye, and the one that reads least like a bathrobe. Flat-woven rather than looped, so it hangs like a light coat rather than a towel, which is why it gets worn well past the bathroom door.

Why 100% linen

• It regulates temperature. Linen breathes through summer heat and still holds warmth after a winter bath — one robe, all year.
• It does not stay wet. Linen releases moisture faster than any other robe fibre, so it dries on the hook rather than souring against the wall.
• It improves with age. Linen softens with every wash and outlasts terry by years instead of matting and going thin.
• It packs flat. Small enough folded for hand luggage — the reason it travels to hotels and beach houses.

Fit

Cut unisex and relaxed, with a generous wrap, two front pockets and a tie belt. Sizes run S/M to XXL — the measurements above are of the garment, not the body, so allow for the overlap when it is wrapped. Size up if you are between sizes or prefer a longer, looser fit.

Care

Cold wash only, hang dry. No bleach and no fabric softener — softener coats linen fibres and dulls both absorbency and drape. Expect relaxed creasing; it is how linen looks, and it settles as the robe is worn.
