Both the male and female broadband absorbers have an overall NRC of 0.95 based on third-party laboratory testing.
Why are these absorbers 6 inches thick?
Greater foam depth helps extend useful absorption into lower frequencies while still providing strong mid and high-frequency absorption.
Where should I install broadband absorbers?
They can be used at first reflection points, on walls and in other areas where substantial broadband absorption is needed. Placement depends on your room, speakers and acoustic goals.
Are these bass traps?
Broadband absorbers provide absorption across a wide frequency range, including greater low-frequency absorption than thinner foam panels. For dedicated room-corner treatment, we also offer acoustic foam bass traps.
Does broadband acoustic foam soundproof a room?
No. Acoustic foam absorbs sound inside a room to reduce reflections and reverberation. It is not designed to block sound transmission through walls, floors or ceilings.
Can I choose the color?
